This page explains the cookies and similar storage this website uses, and how to choose what you allow. Nothing beyond what's strictly necessary runs until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time. TBC: Jon to review
Your choices
When you first visit, a small panel asks what you're happy with. Accept all and Reject all are equally easy, and Choose which cookies lets you switch each type on or off.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you switch something off, we stop it straight away and delete the cookies it set.
We remember your choice for 12 months. After that, or if we change what we use, we'll ask you again.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These keep the site working and secure. We store your cookie choices in your browser's local storage (as acs-consent) so we don't ask on every page. It never leaves your device and isn't used to track you. The law allows this without consent.
Analytics (only if you switch it on)
If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga, which normally last up to 2 years. Google processes this data on our behalf. We don't use it for advertising.
If you don't allow analytics, Google Analytics isn't loaded at all and no _ga cookies are set. We also tell Google's tags your choices, so advertising features stay off unless you've allowed marketing.
Marketing (only if you switch it on)
Marketing cookies would let us measure adverts and show relevant ones on other sites. We don't use any at the moment. If we add any, they'll be listed here and in the cookie panel, and they'll stay off unless you switch marketing on.
